Hired Kevin/Tropical for partial roofing job repair to a two year old roof... My roof had been 100% replaced in May’2020... Hurricane Ian thru tree limbs into roof breaking concrete tiles... A year after Ian my insurance company finally suggested partial repairs... Kevin gave me a fair estimate to do repairs... I had the distinct pleasure of working with Kevin Cristo at Tropical Roofing Services this August 2023, to provide us with a number of repairs to our tile roof including loose/ missing/ cracked tiles, lifting segments, missing screws and poor adhesives. We were aware of several areas needing attention that were visible from ground level. When Kevin performed his initial assessment of the repairs, he also performed a thorough walk of the entire roofing surface, including vents, ridges and other structures, and found we had numerous loose, cracked or broken tiles, some of which were missing screws and adhesives. We recently purchased our six years-young townhouse in Fort Myers and had a thorough inspection performed, including an onsite roofing inspection. While a number of ridge tiles may have come loose during Hurricane Ian last fall, the majority of the repair work highlighted by Kevin would very likely not have been caused by the hurricane. What's more, Kevin was one of the few contractors we reached out to, who provided prompt, professional responses, coordinated his onsite inspection, communication of findings and statement of work, and actual date of repair. To state that Kevin is a consummate professional providing exceptional white glove service and workmanship throughout the entire interaction, is an understatement. Kevin was able to complete the job, including wait time for the arrival of his replacement tile order, before several contractors responded to our initial request for proposal. In short, we could not have been more pleased with the experience, subject matter expertise and workmanship Kevin provided us. My roof has been leaking for years now, i tried a bunch of repairs and they would work for alittle but then eventually it would start to leak again. Thats when i called Tropical Roofing. Kevin came by and evaluated my roof and gave me multiple options on how to get the job done and recommended that i should do i tear off. I trusted Kevin’s recommendation and went with it. We set up a day to sign contracts and then the next day he was working. The job only took one day and was done fantastically.
